ABOUT MONTEITH'S
CRAFTING AWARD WINNING BEERS SINCE 1868
Originating from the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand, Monteith’s has been crafting its family of fine beers since 1868, staying true to the authentic process and recipes of the classic beer styles it re-creates.
Renowned the world over, Monteith’s continues to produce beers that are made to exacting standards and capture the spirit of the world’s most famous beers and, in some cases, forgotten favourites.
The uniqueness of the beers we make is largely due to the combination of brewing process, ingredients and the approach of our brewers.
All Monteith’s beers are batch brewed and adhere to the quirks and characteristics of original styles (with a little bit of Kiwi ingenuity added for good measure).
