MONTEITHS STRONG & MALTY
BOCK BIER ~ Here's a full bodied beer with a rich maltiness
that fills the mouth with flavour, finishing with a
strong hop tone that cleanses the palate. This is a
complex sipping beer to be enjoyed by a warm winter
fire with a plate full of winter flavours.

Juicy description
A winter warmer, Monteiths Bock
Bier is brewed as a strong beer with a rugged heritage
evolved from Northern German tradition.
As winters shortest day passed, the ancient New
Year began. For untold centuries, the Saxons brewed
a stimulating beer to herald the return of the sun.
Monteiths Bock Bier has a rich malty caramel
aroma and the bracing mouthfeel of an extra strong beer.
The crisp zest of a premium hop variety provides a slightly
spicy character.
The key flavour highlight is its big body ~ it
is a rich beer crafted around three premium malts and
supported by a vigorous alcohol content. The result
is a bright tawny colour that matches the brightness
of the season and develops an energetic flavour that
has the warmth of spring sunshine.
As with the origins of the Bock Bier traditions, Monteiths
Bock Bier is allowed to develop its flavours during
the coldest and darkest weeks of winter. This beer is
not pasteurised which is all the better to retain its
natural flavour heritage.
Monteiths Bock Bier is a vivid example of the
strong beers that help warm away the last days of winter
and usher in the rich, glowing days of spring.
The flavours of large roasted game birds (eg wild turkey)
are a wonderful accompaniment to the complex richness
of Monteiths Bock Bier.
